This large, multi-level, full basement layout is a point-to-point branch line railroad set in the California "Mother Lode Country" in the early 1950s. It connects the Hetch Hetchy, West Side Logging Company, and Pickering Lumber Company railroads with the Southern Pacific and Santa Fe. Serves the local industries from the valley to the mountains. 500 feet of mainline (and a branch line). Dispatcher issues train orders. Car card and way bill system used with EasyDCC. See RailModel Journal magazine, June and July 1999.
